Maryland and is in a cooperative agreement between The Maryland National Guard and the National Guard Bureau. The academy

Teen Community Emergency Response Training
|
TEEN CERT is a training program that prepares you
to help yourself, your family, and your school in the event of a disaster. During an incident, emergency service personnel
may not be able to reach everyone right away. By being trained in Teen CERT, you will have the skills to help emergency responders,
save lives, and protect property. As a member of a Teen CERT team, you can respond to disasters, participate in drills and
exercises, and take additional training. Prince George’s County Office of Emergency Management is sponsoring this
3-day training. Prince George’s Volunteer Center is publicizing this training as an opportunity for youth volunteers
to engage in service in recognition of the Dr. Martin Luther King Day of Service.
